Hilal Kayacan Successfully Defends Master’s Thesis

Hilal Kayacan has successfully completed her master’s thesis defense!

Her work, conducted as part of our TÜBİTAK-2232 project, explored the functions of a microRNA called miR-142 in melanoma and shed light on intriguing interactions between the immune system and the tumor.

“Master Kayacan” will be heading to Indiana, USA in August to pursue her PhD at Purdue University.
